I was telling Livia yesterday that I'd had a migraine every day now for nearly two months. My mother also has them, as does my daughter. Mother has had a migraine every day since I was in the fourth grade. (Actually longer than that; that's just when they put her in the hospital for tests.)

Livia's comment? Sometimes it's okay to let your mother win.

The really good news is that I haven't needed to take meds yesterday or today. Whee!

I'm getting ready to volunteer at the library for a few hours. They're moving to a new location and have lots and lots of sorting and shelving to do. It makes me happy. Guess that means I'm on the right track, huh?

Hey, now....

I have a dilemma of the utmost importance. Starting next Tuesday, The Shield will be on opposite Boston Legal. What the hell? Is that a stark choice or what? On the other hand, lots of moral ambiguity to go around. Guess I'll be taping a lot this winter.
