teaching moment
Feb. 9th, 2006 10:07 amWe had an entertaining moment in Cataloging class a couple of nights ago. The teacher was trying to explain something about how to classify a series and kept talking in generalities, which were not illuminating at all. Finally the woman next to me said, "How about A Series of Unfortunate Events? Use that as an example and show us." The teacher looked terribly confused and the series had to be explained; we were rall giggling like crazy. It turned out to be a very helpful example, because the "real" title of the book starts with the author's name. It's Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events." Now you know.
