ahhhhh, yes.
Jul. 19th, 2006 09:23 pmAh, yes. Back online. For some reason I haven't been able to get online from home for the last day or two, and with all the papers due for school I wasn't willing to gamble on being on the phone for a couple of hours trying to get it straightened out. I figured I'd check email at work or at school, and call after Thursday. Not that I'd really have time then either, but at least I'd have had a bit more breathing room.
But glory be! Today I checked, without any real hope of success, and got online. Whee! Magic works. Thank you, internet elves.
I have two short papers due tomorrow and have one-and-a-half of them done. The one-half part is for Management class, and I still just can't get inspired. Sometimes I wish (well, often, actually) that I was one of those people who can just blather on. I mean, waht is my personal philosophy of management? Let somebody else do it, really. What are my strategies for improvement, development, and learning process? Man, this shit is driving me nuts. I can at least come up with a little bit about what I think a good manager is, but my strategies for development as a manager? Not so much. There's theoretically a little Irish blood in me somewhere, but I sure didn't get the bit with the Blarney stone.
Oh, and I resigned my job today. I just couldn't see trying to take twelve hours in the fall and keep that job. The money sure wasn't worth worrying about! I figured I might as well go on and let them hire someone else and not drag it out past Pennsic. My last day is Aug 2, so I'll have more time to SEW FOR PENNSIC! Yay!
