I'm in Knoxville. Whee. I had some real live coffee this AM, and a Co-Cola on the road, so between those and the adrenaline, I'm zinging right along. I realized I was getting kinda punchy and decided to stop for the night. Thank god for pills that make you sleep-- I'd be awake all night, otherwise. Twitch, twitch. I know people who would try to drive straight through-- all of them men-- but I'm not THAT butch.

Things sound about as good as can be hoped for in the current situation. The doctor told Mother that they are doing a partial hip replacement, just the ball. Said that's the easier part to do. Amy, the nearly-a-PT, says that is good news and she sounded very positive about his recovery prospects. Danny's Daniel says that it is very painful to rehab from, though.

I'm going to crawl into bed with my book now, and wait for the sleeping pill fairy to do her magic. I'll post more as soon as I know anything.
