His mom said something that just dropped my jaw - it came out sounding kind of like "Of course they're staying in the Astrodome, these people were all poor before, so this is better than they've ever had";
the tone was all condescending, and she made it sound like every single person who had been moved to the Astrodome was too poor to have evacuated in the first place (not true). I've been looking for the link to the story, but I think it was during the top-of-the-hour regular news feed. I'll keep looking, though.

If you have comedy central, I highly recommend The Daily Show, which is great at highlighting such stupid quotes. (It comes on at 11pm, but there are re-runs all the time, so you can see yesterday's show at 10am or 8pm.)
