I dunno what's going on but I am unaccountably grumpy. No reason I can find. Except maybe that my head sounds stopped up, if you known what I mean, and I'm getting two big fat cold sores, one on the upper lip, one on the lower, and my hands are sore and crampy from scraping book spines today, and my heart is pounding like I've been running a mile. Still, those are minor things, really. So I'll put on some reasonably happy music and putz around for a bit, and watch the Sopranos tonight. Nothing like a few random bits of Mafia business to cheer me up.

And the reasonably happy music makes my head sound like it's underwater. I'm going to try to listen to Jon Stewart and the Colbert Report at 8 and then the Sopranos... hope they don't make my head roar, too.

cold sores - brian gets this cold sore stuff from whole foods that works way way better and faster than abreva.... fyi
also - i had a wart on my hand and used the duct tape method, which you can find online and it worked AWESOME for that - i mention this because someone on that same site says they used it for a cold sore and it worked. basically you cut a small piece of duct tape and put it on at night and take it off in the morning - put the medicine on, then duct tape again at night, so on until it's gone.

Okay, I know duct tape is the secret tool of choice for everything, but for cold sores? That's just.... weird. Wonder if I have any? (I know, I'll be drummed out of the SCA forthwith if I don't.) I'll look at Whole Foods tomorrow for the other stuff. Thanks!
