Miss Molly

Miss Molly has been losing weight, which on the face of it isn't a bad thing. I mean, she weighed 15 pounds when she was at the vet's last time. When Nia saw her after not having seen her for a week or two, she commented on how much thinner she was, which confirmed my thoughts. She's also been throwing up occasionally... just a few times, but she never did that before. Those two things (and Nia's comments) convinced me to take her to the vet yesterday. They examined her, said they didn't feel anything out of the ordinary, but took a bunch of samples. They mentioned delightful things like diabetes as well as problems with the thyroid, liver, or kidneys. They were supposed to call me back today, but didn't, and I just realized it's too late to call them back. (Time flies when you're having fun... oh, yeah, I wasn't having fun. Oops.) Guess I'll have to call them tomorrow.
