luciabIt's been a good weekend. I got a lot of cleaning done yesterday, despite my haphazard methods. Tracy and I covered a lot of ground, scribally speaking, which was cool, and we talked for hours beyond the scribing conversation.
This morning I got laundry done and played a couple of games of Rails with Nia, and I've actually gotten started writing on my paper that's due next month. I had hoped to get it done this week, but while I'm not going to put it off till the night before it's due, starting a month ahead is more organized than any human I know, realisitically speaking. And if you really ARE that organized, I don't want to hear about it. It wouldn't spur me to do better, it'd just make me cranky.
While I didn't get my paper done last week, I did get a bunch of other random stuff done that I've been needing to do. Like work out what classes I need to take and when I'm likely to graduate (Summer '07 at the earliest.) And I plan to visit a friend who works at the State Archives to see what it is they really DO; if it's okay with her boss, I'll do that tomorrow. That'll help me make a final decision about which track I want to do for my MLS. Right now it's looking like public libraries, but I'm curious about archives and preservation/conservation. We'll see.
