Whew.... I just talked to the jury clerk, who rescheduled me for May 9. (See previous entry) Should we conclude that the state of American apathy is really as bad as we all feared? Because there was absolutely no surprise or dismay that I had (a) missed jury duty and (b) not contacted her until the fifth day after the fact. I expected to at least get fussed at for not calling sooner. Geez. And now I'm confused because I didn't get fussed at! Wow. I need to get out more.
